Benjamin Gannon

Research Associate, Colorado Forest Restoration Institute

Ben is a Research Associate working with CFRI since 2013 and a PhD student in the Department of Forest and Rangeland Stewardship. His primary interests are fire ecology, watershed science, and wildfire risk assessment. He currently works on assessment and spatial planning tools for watershed-wildfire risk reduction. He has also worked with CFRI on historical forest reconstruction and fire history projects in the Colorado Front Range and the Black Hills. He holds a B.S. in Forest Ecology through the Program in the Environment at the University of Michigan (2007) and an M.S. in Ecology from Colorado State University (2012).
