CFRI student employee wins awards for research

CFRI’s student employee, Ryleigh Gelles, has recently won two awards for her research on the impacts of forest restoration treatments (particularly prescribed fire) on pollinator communities along the Colorado Front Range.

Ryleigh won 1st place for her poster presentation for the High Altitude Revegetation Committee – Society for Ecological Restoration-Rocky Mountain Chapter conference, held at Colorado State University March 12-14, 2019.

Ryleigh also won 1st place for her poster and oral presentation of her research at the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math category at the Multicultural Undergraduate Research Art and Leadership Symposium, held at Colorado State University March 29, 2019.
