Welcome Andrew Slack to CFRI!

We are happy to welcome Andrew Slack to CFRI. He joins us as a Research Associate working on applied adaptive management. He has done research on the relationships between forests, climate, and disturbances, worked on a wildfire and mitigation crew in foothills of the Colorado Front Range, and helped advance collaborative landscape restoration at Redwood National and State Parks in California. His interests include forest and landscape ecology, collaborative forest management and restoration, and forestry and fire ecology outreach. Andrew holds B.A. degrees in History and Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado (2010), and M.S. in Forestry, Watershed and Wildland Sciences from Humboldt State University (2016).
