Ch'aska Huayhuaca

Research Associate, Colorado Forest Restoration Institute

Ch’aska joined CFRI in 2020 as a social scientist contributing to CFRI’s collaborative decision support projects, such as coordinating collaborative forestry groups, developing and applying adaptive management strategies, and contributing to CFRI program management and administration. Her primary research has focused on collaborative natural resource organizations in Colorado. Other research interests include boundary and bridging organizations, collaborative learning and adaptive co-management. She received her Ph.D. from CSU’s Graduate Degree Program in Ecology, her M.S. in Human Dimensions of Natural Resources at CSU, and her B.S. in Natural Resources at Cornell University.
