Katarina is a Research Associate who began working with CFRI as a student in 2016. She joined the research staff in 2017 after graduating from Colorado State University with a B.S. in Natural Resources Management and Conservation Biology. She began her career focusing primarily on ecological monitoring and overseeing data management across a variety of projects, including Upper South Platte Partnership, Peaks to People Water Fund, and Forests to Faucets. Now, Katarina maintains her involvement with data management while also coordinating, supervising, and mentoring undergraduate research assistants and analyzing spatial data to assess landscape-level changes following forest restoration treatments.
