Sienna joined CFRI in 2022 as a Research Associate. She is passionate about adaptive management for the maintenance of plant biodiversity in the face of anthropogenic change and she strives to facilitate the pipeline of data to decision-making directly through her work. Over the last five years, Sienna has worked on ecological monitoring and restoration/conservation projects in prairies, fens, and the sagebrush steppe for several non-profit, state, and federal agencies in the Rocky Mountain region such as the National Park Service. She is excited to further apply her botany and ecology skills in forest ecosystems. Sienna holds a B.S. in Biology and Environmental Science from Northern State University in South Dakota and an M.S. in Botany from the University of Wyoming.
