Brooke Simmons (she/her/hers) joined CFRI in 2021 as a Research Coordinator. Brooke is currently pursuing a Master of Natural Resource Stewardship degree at Colorado State University and holds a Bachelors of Exercise Sport Science degree from Texas State University. Her interests include riparian restoration, mentoring undergraduate students interested in ecological restoration, and being an ally/advocate for creating inclusive spaces within the world of natural resources. Outside of work, Brooke enjoys reading dystopian novels, riding her bike with her dog in tow, and hiking with her partner.
