New Pub! “Using PODs to integrate fire and fuels planning”

The Public Lands Policy Group (PLPG) and the Colorado Forest Restoration Institute (CFRI) at Colorado State University are pleased to share a new piece of work.

This research project focused on how actors are adopting and adapting the Potential Operational Delineations (PODs) framework to inform non-incident management. Through 13 interviews across three case study locations, the authors spoke with personnel in fire and fuels management and forest planning, to identify the key facilitators, barriers, and recommendations for PODs use in forest and fuels planning.
